James Gina shot and killed girlfriend. Then he hid it in his attic. And he planned to transport the remains of her in a vehicle rental, police say in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas police claim that during an argument, a Las Vegas man killed and shot his girlfriend.
James Gina III reportedly told the witness that saw the victim dead, according to the WSET.
According to police, the defendant planned to take her remains and move them in a rental automobile. Gina, according to the police report, did not want his rental car to be used because of the foul smell emanating from her body.
Cops responded near Desert Inn Road on Eastern Avenue to investigate a murder.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department learned at around 2:30pm on Monday that a person may have been injured at a home located in the 1600-block of Golden Arrow Drive.
Arriving officers discovered Gina, as well as a deceased woman.
Gina’s girlfriend was found to be the main suspect.
According to WSET the police reported that approximately 12 shots were fired at her. It was unclear who she is.
The officers reported that the witness informed investigators of hearing Gina argue with her victim. When the witness returned from gambling several hours after leaving, the naked woman was lying in the middle of the floor, with a gunshot wound to her chest.
According to the witness, he left the house and returned the next morning.
Gina was said to have told Gina: “I killed my lover.” Police say that Gina told the defendant he placed her body in attic.

Gina also threatened her mother with a gun if Gina did not get rid of her. Another witness confirmed this to the detectives.
A second witness testified that the defendant had an explosive temper and smoked crystal meth.
Gina had planned to take the body to a different car, as he didn’t want to drive his own vehicle due to its foul odor.
After he had been brought to the police station for questioning, it was reported by officers that he did not want to speak with them.
Nevada prison records confirm that Gina has previously been convicted on charges of battery/domestic assault with serious physical harm, possession a vehicle stolen, battery inflicting substantial injury, coercion as well as owning and operating premises at which illegally-obtained motor vehicle was altered, destroyed disassembled then reassembled for certain uses or stored.
LVPD booked his arrest at the Clark County Detention Center. The charge was open murder with a deadly weapons.
