Three beloved family dogs, Bailey Max Alfie died Friday in an house fire, causing the heartbreak of their owners.

A Glasgow family’s beloved three dogs lost their life in an horrific fire.

Gillian Wilson, who was in Benidorm on Friday 11th August for a holiday, received a shocking phone call. Fire had destroyed her father’s Penilee residence.

In the house at Kinsail Drive were three pets that belonged to the nurse: Bailey, aged 13-15 years, Max, 10 and Alfie.

The emergency services were able to save two dogs around 4.50pm. However, the oldest, Bailey, drowned in the house’s bathtub.

Max and Alfie were still suffering from their injuries after a couple of days, despite vets’ best efforts.

Gillian, a Glasgow Live reporter said: “I lived in Benidorm at the time of all these events.”

The neighbour of my dad called me to tell me that the house on fire was his. The dogs weren’t inside at the time.

The worst of my nightmares began in that moment. Because I was in another country, I did not know what was going on.

My dogs were not in good shape when I got home the following Saturday. After my father tried to break into the home to rescue the dogs, he was badly burned.

The scars on my father’s face are severe because he also went into the house in order to find him.

We don’t own any more dogs because the two that did survive took a bad turn.”

Gillian, her daughter and the dogs have become a big part of Gillian’s life.

He will surely miss them all.

Gillian said: “All of them were rescue dogs.” “.

He was the oldest and was so tolerant and calm. In the beginning, his nervousness was due to him coming from an abusive home.

Bailey went into the bathtub to get comfortable when he became afraid. Bailey would go to the bath whenever fireworks or any other thing scared him.

It was an incredibly gentle, loving dog.

I’m not sure about that. Max was a nut.

Max enjoyed being held like a child. He’d always howl when I called him. He would rush into the shower if he could hear the running water.

Alfie, the cheeky kid who destroyed all he could see.

Now, the entire family is in a state of disarray.

Gillian’s Dad has also lost his home, and many of his personal belongings.

His daughter has taken him in after his traumatic experience.

According to the nurse, “the whole house was written off.” The first time I saw it, the shock was overwhelming. “.

It is necessary to remove everything from the basement, which is a total wreck. The upstairs has been mostly affected by smoke.

There was nothing that could be done. Window and door in the kitchen were blown off. The only thing left of my father’s clothing was his clothes.

He is pretty distraught over the fact that he has lost both his home and the dogs.”

The family was hit with a vets bill of five figures due to the treatment provided to Alfie, Max and their other pets.

In the aftermath of the fire that destroyed her home, 43-year-old tries to assist her father in getting back on his feet.

Penilees have rallied to the support of the family. Crowdfunding, launched on Sunday, is close to its PS3,000 target and has already reached PS2,500.

Gillian has been completely taken aback by how much help people have offered.

She added, “I have a total respect for the people of this community.”

Support has been amazing. The support has been incredible.
